Tunnel Dressings are relatively stiff and this will make it very easy to place down into the patients tunnel. Hydrate only the tip of the dressing prior to placement of tube into tunnel. If there is enough exudate coming from the tunnel or wound to hydrate the dressing; simply place into tunnel dry and let the exudate hydrate it. If the tunnel and wound is relatively dry, hydrate after placement. Use an 8" Q-tip to facilitate placement.
